We have updated the Stripe payment section on the Customer Booking Page. This now uses the latest technology from Stripe.
It will now look something like this when your renters get to the payment part of your online booking experience:
As well as complying with all the latest requirements and regulations regarding worldwide card payments this will offer the following advantages;
- very modern interface
- offering a wide range of payment methods (including Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer etc - see here about how to setup additional payment methods in your Stripe back office)
- you will once again be able to store credit cards - even if you take 0% payment online
- you no longer need to use Stripe Checkout for access to additional payment methods. Keeping your payments inline is a much better way to get a higher conversion rate (renters who actually complete bookings on your store). Inline payments (compared to Stripe Checkout) also means you can benefit from the Stripe card vault function. (ie storing cards for later payments)
