Custom logo (Premium feature)

You can now upload your own company logo to your BugHerd account. This will replace the BugHerd logo with your logo in the app navigation, sidebar toggle, and all emails sent by BugHerd.

To set up your logo, just click on the Settings page in the nav (visible if you're the account owner or manager).

For more examples of how it will look, check out this help article.

This feature is available to customers on our Premium plan ($99 p/m) and above.

As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. :D

Allow guests to see other guest feedback (Premium feature)

A much-requested feature is finally here! You can now allow guests to see feedback created by other guests on the project. We hope that this improvement will help to significantly reduce the amount of duplicate feedback you receive from guests and make gathering feedback from multiple stakeholders much, much better.

When enabled on a Project, the Pins/feedback of other guests will be visible when a guest is viewing your website & giving feedback.

This feature is enabled by default on all new projects if you're on our Premium plan ($99 p/m) or above. To enable this feature on existing projects, or disable it, go to your Project Settings and toggle the "Allow guests to see feedback from other guests" option (see below).

Please note: This feature is available to customers on our Premium ($99 p/m) plan and above.

As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Invite guests with a private link

It's now even easier to invite guests to your project. In addition to inviting guests by email, you can now share an invite URL with them too. Simply copy the guest invite link shown above on the Share Project screen and send it to your guest.

Just like with email, when they click the link, guests will be asked to accept the invite by creating an account, if they're new to BugHerd, or logging in, if they've used us before. For an example of the on-boarding experience that new guests see, take a look at this video.

Annotate when viewing a screenshot

Just a small update to let you know about today.

You can now add annotations when viewing a screenshot, not just when creating tasks. Take a look at the short video below to see it in action, and as always we'd love to hear your feedback in the comments below.

P.S. Annotating screenshots functionality is available to customers on our Standard ($49) plan and above.

Attach files when creating tasks

At a glance:

  • You can now drag & drop to attach a file when creating a task. Or, if you're old school, you can click "Attach a file" to use the file-picker too.

Sometimes it's the little things that give you the most satisfaction. For us, this is one of those things. Now you can easily attach a file while creating a task. Just drag & drop to upload a file. Not much more to be said really. 🥳

Check out the video below to see it in action.

We're also planning to roll-out the new file uploading experience to the other areas of BugHerd, but you'll have to wait a little longer for that, sorry.

As always we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Annotate screenshots

At a glance;

  • You can now add annotations to your screenshot when creating a bug!
  • Requires the BugHerd browser extension to be installed and you need to be on our Studio ($49) plan or above.

We're very excited to announce this update to the BugHerd sidebar. You can now view & add annotations to the screenshot when creating a bug. To add annotations just click the "Add annotations" link. I know, crazy right! 😲

Here's a quick video showing how it works...

A few things to note;

  • The annotations can't be edited once you have saved them. Sorry.
  • The BugHerd browser extension is required for this functionality (for now 😉).
