The year is quickly coming to a close, and honestly, I'm not that mad about it.
As my planning for the end of the year and the beginning of next takes up more and more time, I can't help but think of what I didn't accomplish this year. ๐ฌ
And I take a moment to remind myself (and also you) that all we can ever do is our best.
And "our best" doesn't look the same year to year, month to month or day to day.
I held up pretty well through last year. Then, I hit a period of barely getting the bare minimum done. It was frustrating and depressing.
Lately, I've been on-track, getting things done like I did BP (before pandemic), and I'm thrilled.
Yeah, I think about how the past year or so has been hard, and what I COULD have done if my best had been better...But overall, I know that I did what I could, AND I KEPT GOING.
And that's good enough.
### What are your thoughts?
Do you give your best everyday? Is it frustrating when your best doesn't measure up to what you think it should be?
It's OK. Thatโs good enough.
You hear? It ๐ is ๐ good ๐ enough.๐
