A "Branch" option (or "Start new chat from here") added to the chat message's "Copy, Edit, Delete" dropdown box. It starts a new chat copying all messages *up to* the selected message. Users frequently have to make a pivotal decision that changes the direction of a conversation/story. This proposed 'branch' option would allow users to go back and make a new timeline at these decision points, or even just batch-remove messages they want gone! It also enables users to try out different possibilities at pivotal conversational moments and pick the best one. This would be an immensely useful feature most site users! It would result in major improvements to roleplay by preventing conversations from 'dying off' when a chat direction gets boring. No more roleplay routes hitting brick-walls! It leverages starting a new chat + cloning a message batch from the prior chat.
