I was updating the Vocabulary Course AGAIN today (will it ever be finished?!) and I wanted to add a few practice questions about Farming (Day 1).
So I googled "IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions about farming", and this comes up first:
What do you think the writer means when they say "substantial" farms and "poetry" farms? (NB they are both wrong)

Answer:
I'm guessing that "substantial" farms are SUBSISTENCE farms (= growing crops and raising livestock sufficient only for your own use, without any surplus for trade).
And "poetry" farms are POULTRY farms.(= domesticated birds kept by humans for their eggs, their meat or their feathers e.g. chickens)
