GT order of bullet points

Should the bullet points be addressed in the same order as given by IELTS?

I double-checked, and the answer is 'no'.

In almost every real task (from a Cambridge book, for example) the bullet points are in a logical order where one idea would naturally flow into another, but in one or two examples I've seen it might make sense to move one to the top.
I tell my students exactly that, and that they should follow the given order most of the time so as to not overcomplicate things, but if they think it makes more sense to change the order then they can.
Having said that, some fake questions do have the bullet points in an illogical order.
