Homophones: peek/peak
This morning, I was delighted to see that I'm not the only person who mis-spells 'peek'!
It's very easily done with this expression, because you expect the spelling of 'sneak' and 'peek' to be the same!
sneak peek = an opportunity to see something before it is officially available
Example: The company is offering a sneak peek at the new software.

the pointed top of a mountain, the highest point
- to peak (vb)
- to reach a highest point, either of a specified value or at a specified time.
e.g. (Task 1) "Sales peaked in 2020."
- to peek (vb)
to look at something for a short time
- to take/have a peek (n) at something
to have a quick look at something
- a sneak peek

Easy way to remember:
- the 'A' spelling in peAk is like a mountain peak⛰️
- the 'ee' spelling in 'peek' is like 2 eyes 👀
