What's new on IELTS with Fiona

I'm a bit geeky about tech tools for learning, so I was really interested to see this new way of checking how difficult an IELTS Reading text is.

I tried it out with a Passage 3 Academic Text "Why fairy tales are really scary tales" and this is what it can do:

If you copy and paste the text into a google doc, Reading Difficulty Power Tools (RDPT) will tell you:

• how difficult the text is (see RED)
• highlight the difficult words
• put the difficult words into a table with links so you can check their meaning
• put the difficult words into a Google Sheet (you can use this to create a Quizlet very easily)
