Some people feel that the private lives of celebrities should NOT be openly shared by the media. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The question concerns the right to privacy. Here is some useful vocabulary that AGREED with the statement:

• Invasion of privacy/media intrusion is … damaging, harmful, hurtful, unethical, unhealthy, exploitative, unjustifiable, intrusive.
• Everyone has a fundamental right to privacy.
• Everyone is entitled to privacy and freedom from the scrutiny of others.
• The right to privacy should be respected.
• Fame does not necessitate a loss of privacy.
• Being famous does not mean that you lose your right to privacy.
• Just because they are public figures, it does not mean their personal lives should be subject to public scrutiny. 
• Celebrities deserve the opportunity to lead a normal life outside the spotlight.
• Media outlets should focus on their professional achievements and public appearances, rather than delving into their personal lives.
• Fame should be based on achievement rather than intrigue.
• The media should concentrate on their public endeavors.
