'spooky' = "strange and frightening" e.g. a spooky story/castle

Can you guess what the verb 'spooked' means in this sentence (and song?)

It means that, investors were frightened or made to feel nervous (due to the weird decisions of the government).

Further down in the article, the writer uses a synonym to avoid repetition - can you find it?

That's it: 'rattled' [Informal: to make (someone) nervous, worried, or irritated].

Also notice all of those wonderful verbs of change, used in a REAL context.
