Is 'research' countable or uncountable?
Can you refer to 'a research' or 'some researches'?
Absolutely NOT.
'Research' is UNcountable so it needs a singular verb e.g 'Research has shown...' and 'I've done SOME research'.
However, the people who do the research are of course countable (researcheRs). 'Studies' is the countable alternative. So try not to confuse them ('Studies have shown...')
Here are some ways of referring to research in IELTS Task 2.
I do NOT recommend that you invent an article that was never written and that you haven't therefore read.
Ignore any teacher who tells you to do this.
