Yes, you can use ‘frigid’ to mean ‘very cold’ in very specific, formal and usually written contexts, usually in relation to the weather.
But it has other connotations, and if you say “I’m frigid” instead of “I’m very cold”, it will sound very strange indeed.
So stay safe, use well-known lists of extreme adjectives e.g. very cold = absolutely freezing.
