I got this message from one of my followers on Instagram today:
She's right. I get about 52 likes on my posts, but I have 86,000 followers.
I guess that, on average, if 86,000 people take IELTS, about 52 will get Band 9.
So those 52 people who like my posts every day are probably the ones who will be successful.

I calculated this figure based on IELTS.org Demographic data 2019
Hardly anyone gets Band 9, but if you scroll down to the first language data you'll see that on average, about 0.001 people get Band 9 (this was difficult to show on the pie chart because it almost disappeared, but if you check on a calculator, you'll see that it's almost the exact proportion of the people who engage with my Instagram tips).
The moral of the story is: I know that my tips work, but if only a few people take the time to read them, only a few people will do well in the IELTS test.
Because you're reading this, I am absolutely sure that you will get a fantastic score in the IELTS test, so thank you again.
