Adding more general memory will go nowhere, especially in longer & longer chats. What we need is an option to add (and possibly remove if possible) prompts to the core prompts of the character. For example a character who was afraid of bondage but then overcame that fear, we could remove the fear from their personality setting & add a the information about overcoming that fear. Basically allows us to access & modify the base personality/background settings of the characters which are always stored in memory & often conflict with changes made during the roleplay.

That's in fact a technique a few other sites on the market use to overcome the inherently limited memory of LLMs. Add a chat-specific "conversation memory" that allows us to add (and remove) specific "memories" for a bot, like "X has overcome her fear of intimacy" or "Y discovered his submissive side." It wouldn't even necessitate editing a bot's personality directly.

Make a seperate memory for location & clothing. It'll be a RAM like memory that's constantly updated as these 2 elements are changed during the roleplay.
