Beeing able to have more than one "profile" character.

Let's say I have 2 or 3 stories going at the same time and I would want my characters to be different ages or have a different mindset. As far as I've figured out it's not possible to have more than one "profile" character. Also changing the profile seems to then change it for stories allready started. It would also be cool to be able to make a picture for your profile on a side note.
