Small improvements across vouchers, tiers and other areas

We're happy to share that we've recently made several small changes across the product.

Refund vouchers before deleting a reward

You can now refund unused vouchers before you delete a reward. This means your customer gets their points back from a reward you may no longer want to offer.

Shorter reward expiration timeframes

We've extended the reward expiration option to include 7 and 14 days.

Tier benefit descriptions

You can now include additional context for your tier benefits, giving customers more clarity on the benefit, how it functions, and how it will be honoured. This will show within a model when the benefit is clicked on your loyalty page.

Secret tier benefits

If you want to hide a tier benefit from other tier members, you can now make them secret, meaning they are only visible to customers already in that tier.

New program event

There is a new program event, customer.enrolled. This is sent out as a webhook and also to outbound integrations like Klaviyo.

It's sent when a customer joins the program, so this could be used to facilitate a "welcome to our program" email. You can learn more about the events in our help docs.

Approved points config in Theme Editor

The Theme Editor now allows you to change the type of points displayed on the integrated loyalty page. We now support both 'total points' and an 'approved points' view. You can configure this in your Theme Editor settings.

Here is an example of the different settings and views:

  • “Total points” mode- 1800, 500 pending
  • “Approved points” mode - 1300, 500 pending
