Context: Capturing information for damage claims and a well built report they can use to track damage claims, their details, and use to send out notifications
We have the functionality today to support tracking damages (tags/custom fields) and upload photos (custom fields). There is an opportunity to make this primary feature beyond just a custom field. Photo upload likely includes a lightweight for users with Bring Your Own Device to easily upload without needing a mobile app.
Possible Feature Capabilities:
Collect Damage information (customizable) on a form to be triggered when a Damage Tag is added to the appointment- When it happened- Description of what happened- Party responsible- Upload of Photos and Documents
Reports on Damages that can be segmented by Carrier, Load Types
and can be sent out (email notification) to Carriers, or a segmented group of people (Internal team, for example)
User flow: warehouse user adds Damage Tag to an appointment, that triggers a form (Damage Form) to pop up. User fills out the form and submits it. That confirms the Damage report was added. They can go back to the form by removing and replacing Tag and editing the Damage information and resubmitting it.
