I agree! this would solve several problems that we run into every day. Trucks arrive and our security team doesnt know what to do with them if they arent on the schedule. This often causes incorrect appointments to be loaded to get them on the schedule. Having this option would allow our security team to add them to the list and allow our shipping team to process accordingly when they return to the office the next morning.

I think this would be a great idea that way the work in opportunity would be based on the unplanned status of first come first serve. Could even setup a notification with unplanned loads if there is a cancellation. So if a load cancels the first load in the list would get an opportunity to accept that spot. If they deny it could just run down the list.
