We need the ability to track and report on scheduled pallet/handling unit volumes to enable effective warehouse capacity planning and resource allocation. Current Gap: Open Dock currently tracks appointment timing, carrier performance, and dock utilization exceptionally well. However, there's no way to capture or report on the actual volume (pallet count/handling units) associated with each appointment. The existing "Handling Units" field appears to be a binary indicator rather than an actual count field. Business Need: Warehouse operations teams need to answer critical planning questions that require volume data: "How many total pallets are scheduled to arrive tomorrow?" "Which day next week has the heaviest volume?" "Can we accept an additional vendor appointment on Tuesday without exceeding capacity?" "How should we distribute volume across our docks to balance workload?" "How many staff members and forklifts do we need scheduled for peak volume days?" Without this data, warehouse
