Editing and Deleting Authorized Invoices and Bills


We’ve improved the workflow for editing and deleting authorized sales invoices and purchase bills, especially when synced with Xero.

Here’s what’s new:

✏️ Edit Authorized Invoices

Once an invoice is authorized and synced to Xero, it becomes locked. You can now:

  • Click Edit to reopen an authorized invoice.

  • Modify any line item (e.g., price, quantity).

  • Re-authorize the invoice to sync updated values back to Xero.


🗑️ Delete Invoices and Bills Synced to Xero

You can delete authorized invoices or purchase bills. Qoblex will:

  • Delete the record in Qobex and in Xero.

  • Automatically append a random suffix to the invoice reference number in Xero before deletion.This allows you to reuse the original invoice number for a new invoice or bill created in Qoblex

The same workflow applies to purchase bills: COBLEX updates the reference number in Xero before deletion, allowing reuse of the same reference when creating a new bill.
