📥 Smoother CSV imports and exports for contacts, products, and sale orders

A set of CSV improvements that take the waiting and the manual cleanup out of bulk data work.

Contact import and export no longer make you wait

Importing or exporting contacts by CSV used to hold your browser until the whole file finished, and large files could time out. Both now run in the background, the way product and sale order imports already do. On import, Qoblex checks the file's headers and format up front so obvious problems come back right away, then works through the rest and lets you know in your activity feed when it is done. On export, your file is prepared in the background and ready to download when it is finished. Large imports and exports no longer tie up your session or risk timing out.

Choose which columns to include when bulk-editing products

When you bulk-edit products by CSV, you can now choose which columns to include in the file you download, so you only work with the fields you care about for this change. Product Description is now one of the options (it used to be left out entirely), and importing a file that leaves a description blank will no longer wipe out an existing one.

Import historical sale orders with paid and shipped status

Sale order imports used to bring every order in as unpaid and unshipped, which meant extra cleanup for historical orders that were already fulfilled and paid. Three new optional columns let you carry the real status through: mark an order as paid (Qoblex records the payment for you), set the date it shipped, and choose not to move stock for orders you have already reconciled elsewhere. All three are optional, and files without them behave exactly as before.
