I wanted to share a small enhancement idea for the table management module. Right now, we have the Transfer Table option, which works great — but many restaurants often need two additional capabilities: ✅ 1. Split Table • Allow splitting a table’s order into two or more separate tables. • Useful when guests sitting together want separate bills or move to different tables. ✅ 2. Merge Table • Allow merging two or more active tables into one. • Common when guests want to sit together after initially being assigned separate tables. These two features would make the table management flow more complete and aligned with real-world restaurant operations.
