🚩The old "Customer required fields for online" setting is due to be sunset and fully replaced by the newer "Customer fields for online" setting.
In June 2023 we released a new "Customer fields for online" setting which allows you to determine how much information you request from each customer as they checkout on your online Billing Details page.
This setting gives you much more flexibility with the online checkout process, choosing which customer fields are displayed, and which of those are required, in order to maximise your conversion rate. For example, if you only require a name and email address from customers when booking on your Ticketsolve website, this setting allows you to remove all other fields from the page to streamline the checkout process 🏁
This setting was designed to replace the older and less-flexible "Customer required fields for online" setting.
Until now, both settings have been active and available to use. In a few weeks, the older "Customer required fields for online" setting will be sunset and removed from Ticketsolve, and fully replaced by the newer "Customer fields for online" setting.
Go into your Settings > General Settings > "Customer fields for online" setting and check that this contains the correct options for the fields you want displayed on your online Billing Details page. There will be three options:
Your online Billing Details page will be displayed according to what is set in the "Customer fields for online" setting. You can of course customise this at any time you like.
