Allow Numeric Digits in Last Name Field

We are a school - for our event attendees we COUNT on having the graduation year at the end of each alumni's name. Did not know that was not an option until attempting it this morning. Can you please make this a quick fix so we can properly locate and acknowledge alumni at our upcoming event? (22 days from today) Ex. John Smith 1988.
