Easier Affiliate Link Management

Keeping track of all your affiliate links across hundreds of social and blog posts can be daunting. Making sure they remain current and in working order is even harder. Thankfully, there are some tools that make it much easier to manage affiliate links, especially for bloggers using WordPress. Here are three recommendations (affiliate links are being used where possible):

• Pretty Links – Not only does this WordPress plugin enable you to brand “ugly” affiliate links to your domain but you can use these links on social media and other platforms. Enter the affiliate link once within your site's Pretty Links dashboard and Pretty Links will create a new URL that when used “bounces” to the affiliate link automatically. Reuse that link on thousands of pages if you wish. Affiliate link change needed? No problem! Just swap out the old link with the new one once inside your Pretty Links dashboard and you’re updated for all instances where it is used. Not using WordPress? You can do the same thing with RocketLink. Both tools provide valuable analytics too.
• Affiliate Coupons – This premium WordPress plugin makes it very easy to insert visually-appealing coupon blocks into your page and post content and site's sidebar and footer widget areas. Affiliate Coupons provides convenient fields into which you enter an image, coupon code, descriptive content, expiration date, and more. Provide these details, categorize the coupon, and complete other options if desired and you’re ready to then insert your new coupon blocks into multiple posts (using the Gutenberg editor or shortcodes). Update these fields as often as needed from a central dashboard within WordPress and the block changes automatically no matter where it is on your site.

• Skimlinks – Offer your readers even more buying choices when you install the Skimlinks plugin (or JavaScript code if not using WordPress). With it you are able to simply link out directly wherever you wish and, if that seller has a participating affiliate program, Skimlinks will convert your outgoing link automatically to an affiliate link for you on the fly (yes, even comments and forum entries can be converted!). Skimlinks participates in nearly 50,000 affiliate programs (including Perdue Farms) and pays their publisher partners 75% of what they earn. Skimlinks also has some tools that can monetize older content by adding in new links as well.
