Booking slot customisation

Currently we use booking slots of 9,10,11am etc to show when our daily rental bookings will arrive. (to help organise our shop)
We wish to do half day rentals from 2 slots.
ie 9-12.30pm and 1.30-5.00pm. (3.5hrs)
Would it be possible to have the full day booking slots AND the half day rentals slots as start from 9am or 1.30pm only?
Or is there a way to do this currently that I have missed?
