Bike Rental Manager Ideas

Could it be possible for customers to be able to login to their account and update their booking to add helmets, pedals etc or to add their ABC measurements, delivery address etc ? Maybe you give give the option for us to select what the customer can update ?

Currently we use booking slots of 9,10,11am etc to show when our daily rental bookings will arrive. (to help organise our shop) We wish to do half day rentals from 2 slots. ie 9-12.30pm and 1.30-5.00pm. (3.5hrs) Would it be possible to have the full day booking slots AND the half day rentals slots as start from 9am or 1.30pm only? Or is there a way to do this currently that I have missed?

We are using the BRM system for both bike hire and events/ guiding and coaching so when using BRM to book events you often need a different waiver and potentially T&C it would be great to be able to have sepatae waivers and questions to ask clients

Should be possible to specify the roles and authorizations. 1. for example, a mechanic currently has access to the buy/sell option within an item. The purchase prices are listed there. This should not be information for everyone... 2. For example, a mechanic can currently see all bookings - whether new or already checked in. It's like a report. It should be enough for them to see the upcoming and current bookings. 3. An Agent should only see his / their bookings and not all.

It would be great to have a 'Safety Check' tick box on the check in page. This would enable a more fluid process and therefore make it more likely to be functioned by the user. At present it has to be managed and checked that the tick box is being ticked as thius is an important insurance document if anything goes wrong. When working in Maintenance, the moment you click on a Bike, it always switch to Inventory and the Person in the workshop have to always go back to Maintenance and start the filter again. A pop-up or a new window with the selected bike should open so that the Maintenance list remains.

It should be possible for automatic confirmations to go out for in-store / back-office bookings (store, phone, mail). As with online bookings, it should be possible to select in the settings whether only to the customer or also to the store.

If customers call and you are not near a PC, it should be possible to make the reservation quickly via mobile phone for them (not online). This is currently very difficult to do as BRM is not for small screens. And telling guests on the phone they can book themselves online - you often lose them.

Currently there are two note sections, one from the customer and the other from the bike shop...is it possible to add "Customer Notes:" and "Bike Shop Notes:" Currently just has Notes twice like attached confirmation...just an idea/suggestion for clarification. Thanks.
