Bike Rental Manager Ideas

We start taking deposits for our fleet bikes that will be for sale at the end of the season during july and august. We need a good way to classify bikes that will be for sale at season end and then take a deposit for a specific bike and then process a balance payment and pickup. Bikes that have a deposit remain reserve able for the rest of the season but once the season is over and the balance is paid they would no longer be reservable. We currently do this with a work around in lightspeed, which is a hassle because it requires us to maintain 2 inventories. One in BRM one in lightspeed. The reporting and CRM in Lightspeed is very good so maybe the best way is to send over a different transaction type to lightspeed when a deposit or sale is processed
