If you run any kind of eCommerce business you know spammy purchases are the WORST. As it turns out there’s a pastime for basement dwellers who get bored in the black market and that’s to sign up then report misuse of the cards required to purchase. The internet truly gets weirder by the day. We had our own encounter with this malicious activity for about a week in September so we quickly locked down the platform which requires manual approval for all who sign up. We know this may cause a little delay for some who are using referral links but it stopped the issue completely so this is an area we will work on in the 4th quarter of '21 but right now we have zero issue with spam sign up which is always our goal.
