You may be wondering what is an evergreen campaign?
It is a campaign built from your best engagement tweets from your Twitter history.
- First of all that this tweet is one of your best tweets
- Second of all, the existing social proof on this tweet.
With this information, Twitter algorithms will better expose your tweet.
As a result, when you retweet that particular tweet, you'll get 2 benefits: it will be exposed to more people and get more likes, retweets without you writing a new tweet again.
To set an Evergreen campaign, you will need to do several things:
You can define the dedicated time slots of your choice, in 2 places:
Choose the time slot in the future, and start your copywriting
From there, you have the ability to create and schedule a bunch of tweets or threads for the next week.
Customize each tweet or each entry of your thread:
- Turn a post into an image with a color background
- add a picture
- add an URL
Click the button Add to queue to save it.
And that's it, all your tweets created on Makezu, will be tracked to get their popularity indicators.
Then, each time you have an evergreen time slot, Makezu will randomly pick one to retweet it.
When you want to remove a tweet from an evergreen campaign, just click on the green icon, it will turn grey.
If you want to add a tweet to your evergreen campaign, click on the grey tree icon from your Twitter history, and it will turn in green which means it will be added to your evergreen campaigns until you decide to remove it.
Thanks to your valuable feedback, we have decided to add a new option available for your campaigns.
You can add an additional parameter to improve the targeting of your campaigns:
- define the minimum number of followers of the targets with which you want to interact.
- our algorithms will only keep the corresponding targets
In step 4 or step 3 (depending on the type of campaign you choose), enter the minimum number of subscribers you want
Save your campaign and launch it
Some of you asked for a simple campaign to follow specific people on Twitter without sending them a DM.
It's now available, you can access this feature by clicking on the purple "New campaign" button from the Header section.
Hit the Follow campaign block
And follow the 4 steps to set up your campaign.
And launch it!
From now on, no need to delete and re-create a new campaign to change the mode of interaction.
Just click on your campaign from the "Campaigns" tab (Left Menu), go to the settings tab, and change the value to switch the mode.
Some of you have repeatedly requested the ability to verify each target identified by our algorithms before sending them a personalized message.

You can now choose between 2 modes when creating your campaign.
This option is available at the last step of the creation of a campaign.
You will have to go and check your targets from time to time and validate them by hand.
- Make sure your campaign is running, click on the button "Check targets"
- You will land on the Detected targets tab: Click "Select" to start sending your personalized message or "Remove" to remove this target from your campaign.
To help you increase the delivery rate of your Campaigns' Direct messages, we advise you to follow each target before sending an automated message.
