New Task features...
You can now add another Contact to a Task-- useful for introductions, partnerships, etc.
You can select the second Contact with a search box.
See the drop down menu in the editor toolbar for the Task description.
Most of these are hopefully self-explanatory. Note that if there's no data to fill in (for example, using {{contact_ideal_client}}, but that field is blank, it will not put any information in the description when it gets parsed.
Different types of Tasks
You can use the description as an email or text body. (In the URL field, put mailto:{{contact_email}}?subject=Subject&body={{description}}.
To make the Task a phone call, put tel:{{contact_phone}} or tel:{{contact_mobile_phone}} in the URL field.
To make the Task a text message put sms:{{contact_mobile_phone}} or sms:{{contact_mobile_phone}}&body={{description}} to include the description as the message content.
You can also use it to populate URL parameters in other systems. (If this is gibberish to you, don't worry about it.)
(Update) The Task icons will vary depending on the URL.
Links to web pages outside of your Mimiran account show the arrow leaving the page.
Tasks with no URL show a disabled icon, as seen below.
Links to pages inside your Mimiran account show an arrow in a circle.
And now, links to Tasks that involve a call, text, or email (based on the URL), display the appropriate icon.
You can now create Task Templates, that make it easier to quickly create certain types of Tasks.
You should have a "Make an Introduction" template as an example.
You can define whatever templates you want, and they'll appear as entries in the New Task menu on the Tasks page and the Contact details page.
