Are you having problems with players joining the game again after they know the right answers?
Good news! You can now hide the correct answers after a player submits incorrectly so they won't be able to cheat by recording all the right answers before joining again.
The correct answers will also be hidden on the questions review part after the player has finished. This gives you the control on sharing the correct answers.
✅ To use this feature, disable the option "Show correct answer after incorrect submission" on the launch screen:
We've added a bunch of new categories so you can categorise your games better! If your game is uncategorised right now, it will show a yellow warning icon. Click on the icon to choose a category, or request a new one.
We appreciate you correctly categorising your games so we can keep the public games organised. That makes it easier for everyone to find what they're looking for. A revamp of the public games page will be coming in the future!
As per feedback, we have added music support on the player devices.
If you launch a game in homework mode, the music will now play on the player devices as well and can be turned on or off using the game controls from the host screen.
In live mode, the music will only be on the host device.
Hope you like it!
The game controls will now affect player devices as well. E.g. if you turn off the player names, they will also turn off on the player's game board and leaderboard screens.
Right now the music only works on the game host device - let us know in the feedback below if you'd like the music to work on player devices as well.
We've also added confetti to the podium to make it more celebratory and changed it to dark theme. Let us know what you think!
Do you have problems with students cheating by sharing answers? Would you like to see a feature which would allow you to have dynamic quizzes so each student gets different questions?
How would it work?
Using your personal Question Bank, when making the quiz, choose a folder in your Question Bank so the software will automatically pick a random question from that folder during the live game.
Vote below and let us know if we should build this!
😃 - Yes! I have this problem and would absolutely use this
