Boolean Search that is Weighted based on Most Recent CV Only

We need to find the most suitable people for our jobs but the current system weights candidates based on how many times keywords show up throughout ALL of the files.
If we are looking for someone with Java experience, the candidate with 8 CVs attached to their profile with one mention of Java in each will show up ahead of the Java specialist with 6 mentions of Java in the 1 CV attached to their profile.
I suggest an alternative Boolean option that only searches the most recent CV on record for each candidate.
