At the moment, the only option is to share a profile link with candidates, which is quite limited in terms of what they’re able to update. More importantly, there’s a potential GDPR concern here - if a candidate accesses that link and doesn’t clear their browser history or data, it could remain accessible to anyone else using that device, as there’s no password protection or login required. Would it be possible to develop a more secure, portal-style feature for candidates? Something simple where they can access their profile via a secure link or login, update their personal details, upload a new CV, change preferences, and manage things like job alerts or consent. It doesn’t need to be overly complex - even a lightweight, branded interface with basic profile controls and an expiring access link would go a long way. Not only would this improve data security and compliance, but it would also streamline admin on our side and enhance the overall candidate experience.
