Improving usability Tasks
Under Review
June 12, 2025
Instead of using the free-text "Name your task" field, it would be more effective to let teams define their own task types.
For example:
Live lead chase
After sales
Contractor evaluation
This would allow tasks to be categorized clearly and consistently across the team. Every task would fall under a predefined type, rather than everyone coming up with their own wording.
Why this matters:
Free-text task names lead to messy and inconsistent workflows
Custom types keep it clean and structured
Each team or company can define the types that fit their process
The description field remains available for extra info, links (e.g. to a lead), or notes
Removing the "Name your task" field would simplify the UI (less is more) and encourage better team alignment.
