For example, on Tuesdays we have an early event at 11am. If I come in at 3pm on Tuesday, log in to Box Office and select "only upcoming", it includes the early morning event that is already finished that day. I think there should be an option for live updating, or being able to tick a box on the box office home page that says "this event is finished". We can go into the back end of ticketsolve and turn off the event once it's done, but there should be an automatic thing where if something runs from 11-1, at 1pm it is no longer on the top of the homepage. This minimises accidentally selling tickets to a finished event on the same day.
