Public waiting list before events are sold out?

Hi team! With our Christmas screenings selling fast, it would be really good if we could switch the public waiting list on before an event is fully sold out. For example, we currently have an Elf screening which has three seats available, but one is in the auditorium, one on the balcony and one access seat. It's been sat like this for a little while, but we've had a fair few families asking whether we can add a group of 4 to the waiting list. I'm aware that we can do it from the box office, but not everyone realises this is something we offer, so it would be good to have it show up on the website to avoid those extra step of having to phone up or email us, then have us add them from our end. Hey Sam, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on enabling the waiting list for an event before it’s fully sold out! 😊 It’s not something we’ve had suggested before, but it’s definitely a valuable idea to consider.
As with all features, we prioritise work based on how many customers it could benefit, so we’ll keep this post visible here to see if it gains traction from other Ticketsolve users.

HI Natalie, I could see this type of feature being useful to people registering their interest for events yet to go on seal to be the first to hear about them. I could see you could do a manual process within Mailchimp to email people who sign up to a specific list, but holding this data in Ticketsolve directly would make this more streamlined.
