It would be beneficial to review and update access roles to better align with the specific roles and responsibilities of teams within venues. Currently, granting full access to certain staff allows them to retrieve necessary reports but also unintentionally provides access to areas that are not relevant to their role. A more refined approach would help ensure that access is appropriately tailored to each team’s needs.

This would also be useful for us. We don't use the lower levels of user roles as we don't have that kind of a team, all of our box office staff need to be able to do everything, but for others it would be really useful to be able to allow them access to reports but not to booking tickets, for example.

Can I suggest an option for us to set our own user levels, with tick options of what those individuals can access? This means we can manage the users and their visibility within the system?

I have marked the original request as 'Complete' as this was primarily for the addition of a new user role which allows access to Reports but not to other areas of the system - this is now available with the new 'Reports' User Role. We now offer a 'Reports' user role, which allows users access to the Reporting menu tab, but no other access to the system. More info here: https://ticketsolve.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/47720741313940-Understanding-the-Reports-User-Role
With this new role now available, I will mark this feedback request as complete 🙂 We don't have any plans currently to allow creating of custom user roles/access, but if you have additional use-cases for more variation in user roles, please do create a new feedback request and we can look into it!
