TimeToSignUp allows admins to automatically open and/or close a TimeToSignUp sheet at a specified time. Admins do not need to sit at their computer to open a TimeToSignUp sheet at a desired time. Instead, TimeToSignUp sheets can open (and/or close) automatically so that participants can sign up starting on a specified date/time.
Admins have this option when creating or editing a sign up sheet:
It's easy to change the date/time:
Even better news: this feature works for registration forms, too!
TimeToSignUp added the ability for admins to request multiple sign ups for one item.
Entering the quantity allows a participant to sign up for multiple items and/or allows multiple participants to sign up for the same item. In the example above (Clean-up Crew: 4:00 - 4:45), the admin is allowing 5 participants to sign up for the clean up crew.
When a participant views the TimeToSignUp sheet, they will see the option to choose a quantity:
Platinum TimeToSignUp subscribers can add instructions, updates, news, etc. on their account home page. In our example below, we added a short "thank you" message plus a link to view samples of our TimeToSignUp sheets.
Adding instructions on your account home page allows account administrators to offer a greeting or thanks, or provide instructions or directions to participants. Don't worry, you can still add specific instructions for individual TimeToSignUp sheets, but this new area allows admins to provide general instructions.
TimeToSignUp has an option for participants to select a number when signing up:
Today we are announcing two big changes to the number option!
We recognize that with COVID-19, organizations are looking for a way to limit the number of people who are signing up. Here is an example of how the number limit can help:
A church needs to limit attendance to 80 people for its 9:00 am service and 80 people for its 10:30 am service. The church can create a sign up sheet with two columns, one for 9:00 and the other for 10:30. Each of these columns can use the number option with a limit of 80.
This will permit 80 people to sign up for each service.
TimeToSignUp will allow participants to sign up until the maximum (in this case, 80 per service) is reached.
TimeToSignUp admins have the ability to hide the (annoying but often necessary) "I'm not a robot" checkbox on registration forms.
The "I'm not a robot" checkbox is intended to prevent spammers and bots from submitting junk data on your registration forms, but we understand: you and event participants are tired of clicking on pictures of storefronts and automobiles. TimeToSignUp now offers the option to turn off the "I'm not a robot" checkbox for individual registration forms. It's as simple as going to the form options and switching from "Yes (default)" to "No."
TimeToSignUp now features a way to see all TimeToSignUp sheet participants and the items for which they signed up.
The Participant Summary shows the names/info of all participants who signed up (and the items for which they signed up) on all of your TimeToSignUp sheets. (This does not include registration forms due to the variety of fields that forms have.)
Also part of the Participant Summary is the ability to search for participants by name or email address.
