Fun, "anti-CRM" for solo consultants who love serving clients but hate selling.

Get rid of subdomains?
Feature request
Completed
Back in the day, people really liked having subdomains ("mycompany.mimiran.com"), but this is becoming less and less common. I went to some trouble to implement it, but sometimes people complain that they are not sure where to go to sign in, if they want to rebrand it's a nightmare, etc. What do people think of everything being the same, except that everyone would sign in at app.mimiran.com? (Existing links to proposals could redirect.) Everything except the login screen would have your account colors, logos, etc, and of course the same security.

Self populate new fields
Feature request
Completed
Hey Reuben, With the new fields for ideal client/referral partner, I'm curious what your thoughts would be on a feature like this: What if each person had a button in their record that, if pressed, would email a simple message to them like, "Hey {First Name}, I'm using a CRM called Mimiran that lets me keep track of people in my network. I'd like to ask if you can help enrich some info--I'd love to learn who your Ideal Client and Ideal Referral Partners are. If you can share about both of those at [this link] then it'll update on my end and I'll better be able to send the right people to you. Thanks!" For [this link] then it'd be a unique link where, whatever they put in for those two fields, it'll stick that in the appropriate parts for their record. Whatcha think? Would this be a good value add thing?

Referrer Section
Feature request
Completed
There needs to be an open field for referral source. Many of my referral sources are not in Mimiran. Don't see why it should be limited. I have to mark it in the notes.

Dedicated Field for Contact Website
Feature request
Under Review
Currently, Mimiran tries to derive the contact's website from the email address. For example, tim@apple.com would mean https://www.apple.com. In cases like this, it works well. However, it doesn't work well with gmail addresses, or situations when the email does not relate to the primary website. So I think we need a dedicated website field. When introduced, it will get populated according to the current system, from the email address.
